The World Dryer SLIMdri Hand Dryer (Model L-973A) is a compact, high-speed automatic dryer with a brushed (satin) stainless steel cover. It has an adjustable heating element, an antimicrobial cover finish, and meets ADA requirements without a recess kit. At only 3.9" thick, it can be surface-mounted in a walkway or traffic corridor.
Key Features:
- Fast Drying: 15 to 20 second dry time with 140 mph (12,320 ft/min) max airspeed and 70 CFM air volume. A high-intensity single-port nozzle maximizes drying effectiveness.
- Adjustable Heat: A hidden switch lets the owner run the 400 W heating element with the motor or leave it off, to customize dry time, comfort and energy use. With heat on, air rises 48°F at hand level.
- Automatic Operation: Infrared sensor starts the dryer with no touching. It stops as soon as hands are removed.
- Surface-Mounted and ADA Compliant: Protrudes less than 4" from the wall, so there is no recess kit or wall cutting.
- Low Noise: 69 dB without hands present, 88 dB with hands.
- Energy Efficient: Uses 950 watts, which World Dryer states is 70% less energy than competitive dryers.
- Universal Voltage: Accepts 110-120 / 208 / 220-240 VAC and adjusts automatically (not for 277V).
- Antimicrobial Cover: SteriTouch® technology inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungus and extends the dryer’s service life.
- Vandal Resistant: Two vandal-proof screws and a lock with a special wrench.
- Long-Lasting Motor: Replaceable motor brushes extend product life.
- Water Protection: IP23 rated against harmful water ingress.
