The World Dryer SMARTdri Plus Hand Dryer (Model K-973P2) is World Dryer’s fastest and most energy efficient dryer, with a brushed (satin) stainless steel cover. Adjustable motor speed and heat let the owner customize drying time, sound level and energy use. It is surface-mounted, and an optional recess kit makes it ADA compliant.
Key Features:
- Very Fast Drying: 10 to 12 second dry time with 250 mph (22,000 ft/min) max airspeed and 78 CFM air volume. A high-intensity single-port nozzle maximizes drying effectiveness.
- Adjustable Controls: Three motor speeds (High, Medium, Low) and on/off heating let the owner customize air flow, dry time, sound level and energy consumption.
- Automatic Operation: Infrared sensor starts the motor and heater with no touching. It stops as soon as hands are removed.
- Low Sound Level: 68 dB without hands present, 88 dB with hands.
- Energy Efficient: World Dryer states it uses 12% of the energy of traditional dryers and up to 50% less than competitive high-speed dryers.
- Air Filter: Reusable coarse air filter at the intake removes large particles from the air stream.
- Two Voltage Options: 110/120V or 208-240V.
- Antimicrobial Cover: Inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungus and extends the dryer’s service life.
- Extended Life Motor: World Dryer states a service life 2-3 times longer than competitive high-speed dryers.
- Vandal Resistant: Two vandal-proof screws and a lock with a special wrench. Die-cast zinc alloy nozzle with bright chrome plating.
- Water Protection: IP24 rated against harmful water ingress.
- Certified: UL, CSA and CE approved. NEC and CEC code compliant. LEED credit eligible and GreenSpec listed.
