The 8206-SC-R Slow Close Phenolic L-Shaped Fold Up Shower Seat is designed to provide added safety and ease of use in shower areas. This seat features gas-charged struts that assist in one-handed opening, allowing the seat to lower slowly to its operating position. Additionally, these struts assist in partial closing. The guide brackets equipped with a spring detent prevent the seat from dropping unexpectedly, ensuring positive support while in use and spring locking in its storage position. This right-hand seat meets ADA Accessibility Guidelines, catering to the needs of the physically disabled and elderly. The seat is constructed from a ½” thick, one-piece solid, white-colored, black core phenolic. The frame, support legs, flanges, and bracket are crafted from type 304 satin finish stainless steel. The phenolic seat is field reversible and measures 33″ wide, projecting 22-7⁄8″ from the wall.
