The AirDri CompactDRI Hand Dryer (Model HDH-0606A5SSB) is a slim, quiet automatic dryer with a brushed (satin) stainless steel cover. It delivers comfortably warm air, runs efficiently, and meets ADA requirements without a recess kit. It suits offices, cafés, restaurants, schools, libraries, and spa and leisure centers.
Key Features:
- Warm Air Drying: 15 to 17 second dry time with 60 mph (27 m/s) max airspeed and 410 cubic feet per hour of air volume, from a high-speed brushless motor. Wide-type air aperture. Air temperature rises to 117°F from a 68°F ambient, even without a heating element.
- Low Noise: 70 dBA at 1 meter (3 feet), verified by ISVR Consulting at the University of Southampton.
- Automatic Operation: Infrared sensor starts the dryer with no touching. It stops as soon as hands are removed.
- Surface-Mounted and ADA Compliant: Protrudes less than 4" from the wall, so there is no recess kit or wall cutting.
- Energy Efficient: Uses only 1000 watts, with an estimated operating cost of about $42 per year.
- Vandal Resistant: Steel back plate and four vandal-proof screws with a special Allen wrench.
